Youth Ultimate league registration

So many of our students are interested in playing Ultimate!  Our school team will be up and running in early 2017, but for now students can register for a Youth League this fall on Thursdays.  For more information, click here.

Meeting for substitute teachers

On Thursday, September 29th at 3:30, we will be holding a meeting for substitute teachers interested in working at St. Paul’s this year.  The meeting will take place downstairs in the LRC.

Proof of school pictures have been distributed to students.  If you would like to order prints, please return the form and money OR order online by Tuesday, October 4th.  There will be a retake date but that hasn’t been scheduled yet – we will let you know!

Curriculum Night Thursday 7:00

We look forward to welcoming our parents to Curriculum Night on Thursday at 7:00, starting in the gym.  Meet our new administrators followed by a visit to your child’s homeroom class. Pick up a copy of the class schedule and follow in your child’s footsteps through a mini Day 1.

Following curriculum night, there will be a meeting in Room 305 for any grade 9 student interested in traveling to Boston and New York on a school Math trip.   If you are unable to attend but would like more information, please contact Ms. Foote at

Wondering how to get involved in music at St. Paul’s? A parent information session on band and choir will be held in Room 101 immediately following curriculum nght. Students may also speak to Mrs Coady (Room 300) or Ms Pope (Room 101) at any time. Welcome as well to Mr. Harte, our instrumental music intern.


Week of September 12th – 16th…

Some important information for this week!

School photos will be taken Monday, September 12th – please come prepared.

The breakfast program and cafeteria services will begin Monday, September 12th.

Curriculum night will take place on Thursday, Sept. 15th.  We will begin at 7:00 in the gymnasium with a welcome from Mr. Drover and Ms. Budgell.  Parents/guardians will then go to their child’s homeroom and will follow their Day 1 schedule to meet the teachers.

Please ensure all student data forms, media consents and computer acceptable use agreements are returned asap!

Grade 9 students will be going to Sunshine Rotary Park this week – if you have not already done so, please sign and return the permission slip.

Grade 7 French Immersion students will be going to the Brother Brennan Environmental Education Centre from Wednesday to Thursday – please ensure permission forms are returned by Monday.

Grade 8 students will be travelling to Ferryland next week – permission forms will be sent home this week.

Welcome back students!

Wednesday, September 7th will be a full day for all students.  Doors open at 8:30 to welcome everyone back to school!  By 8:50, Grade 7 students should be in the gymnasium and Grade 8 and 9 students should be in homeroom.  Grade 8 and 9 homeroom lists will be posted in the main foyer.  Grade 7s will have a short assembly before being assigned a homeroom.
