Thursday, October 26th 7:00-9:00: School Dance. Leadership Team will be hosting our first school dance of the year.    Tickets ($5) are on sale until Wednesday.

Friday, October 27th: Pajamarama fundraiser for Janeway: Students and families are encouraged to make a donation this event. Get into the spirit of Pajamarama, wear your PJ’s, and support a worthy cause.

October 19th and November 3rd school will be closed for students due to Teacher Professional Development.

Thanksgiving Food Drive for St. Paul’s Church Food Bank.

St. Paul’s Junior High is having a food drive of non-perishable food items tomorrow. The food bank at St. Paul’s church, which provides an important service to so many in our school community, is in desperate need of replenishment. We are hoping the students of St. Paul’s can make a difference to the current situation of the food bank, especially at this time of Thanksgiving.

Week of October 2nd to 6th

Tuesday, October 3rd- There’s a parent information meeting  6:30 in the school library regarding the WeDay-Social Action/Cultural trip to Montreal & Ottawa, Nov 11-15. Priority will be given to members of the leadership team, but there is currently room for others who are interested.  Contact for more info.
Thursday, October 5th – is our annual Walk to Breakfast. Breakfast will be served to all our students and to facilitate our healthy living initiatives all students will walk the trails adjacent to the school. Please send in a donation to help support our school breakfast program.
Friday, October 6th – there is no school for students. Our staff will be taking part in the Professional Development day.

Grade Nine Parents

Any parent/guardian interested in sending their child to Boston and New York in May 2018 is reminded that the deposit is due next week.  Cheques can be made out to St. Paul’s Junior High and they can be submitted to Ms. Foote.

There is a Professional Development Day scheduled for our staff on October 6th. Students will not have school on that day.

All NLESD Intermediate Schools will be closed for students on Thursday, October 19th for District planning sessions.
